Safety & Security

For our School Management, the safety and security of students are of paramount importance. To ensure that our students are safe, secure at all times, we have –

• 24 hours security at the school premises.
• Installed CCTVs around the school and in the classes.
• State of the art fire safety equipment on our premises.
• Trained and monitored housekeeping staff on duty inside washroom areas and on each floor.
• Issued I-cards for students which they must wear at all times in the school as well as on school trips.

Computer Lab

The campus has a computer laboratory accessible to students during school hours with advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software to cater to the requirements of the students, teachers and the curriculum. Students get a chance to gain familiarity with Software Technology and are also able to do comprehensive research for their projects and presentations. Teachers constantly monitor the students’ stations to ensure that undesirable sites are not explored.

Composite Lab

The school has a composite science lab with adequate lab materials and scientific instruments suitable for secondary level science practicals. We have all sufficient apparatus required by students in various experiments and for their extended experimentation in projects. The experiments related to various topics in science can be performed from the elementary to the most sophisticated level.

Math Lab

At Indian Public Sr. Sec. School, the Mathematics laboratory is a place where students can experiment and explore patterns and ideas. It is the place to enjoy mathematics through informal exploration. The Maths Lab provides an opportunity for the students to discover Mathematics through the methodology of ‘Learning by Doing’. Many of the activities present a problem or a challenge, with the possibility of generating further challenges and problems. The activities help students to visualize, manipulate and reason.

Work Experience Room/Art Room

The ‘Visual Arts’ Room where expression of creativity and imagination are given wings. It is an outlet for individual thought, visualization and exploration of inner creativity, expression of imagination and interpretation of ideas, events and environment. The endeavour is to infuse a sense of aesthetic appreciation in each child, an ability to enjoy and appreciate beauty. The elaborate Art Studio with the skilled faculty guide the children to achieve finesse through numerous techniques.

Smart Board Enabled Classrooms

All the classrooms across the school are enabled with smart boards. They facilitate the learning of the students. The interactive board turns a typical classroom into a fun learning environment. It enriches classrooms in several ways by providing hands on collaboration and creating the perfect learning setting. Students find it easy to engage with lessons and gain a better understanding of the overall lesson.

Playground

The school has a big playground. It has huge boundary wall. We play all types of games in the playground. We play badminton, football and basketballs. Our school Principals in courage all students to participate in one or more games at least. We have very strong terms of players. The practice different games in the playground. Various matches are held on this playground. The P.T instructor of our school give just training in the playground every year the sports meet has been conducted. He can encourage all the players. Our team have won many prizes in the sports and games. Our school program has produced many great players. They play at the state level.

Library Room

The fosters a love of reading, and helps students and staff use ideas, information, and technology effectively. It is a well organised library; well-spaced and well set. It well stocked with thousands of books on various topics. The book shelves are side-by-side, of an expansive, well lit and organised room at the top most floor of the building. This offers a quiet environment, away from any destruction. The School library has sections ranging from textbooks and reference books to fiction and general knowledge. Since the school aims at making learning a fun process, there is an assortment of books and magazines available on general topics and separate sections for hobby-related books, books on travel, animal care, short stories, drama, poetry, astrology and other topics. The school subscribes to various dailies, weekly and monthly journals, newsletters and magazines, which includes National and International publications.
